The Beltana Progress Association will be able to provide a sustainable water supply to the Beltana hall with funding of $5200 through Round 4 of the Federal Government’s Stronger Communities Program (SCP).
Federal Member for Grey Rowan Ramsey said he is very pleased the funding will ensure a sustainable water supply to the hall with a pipeline installed from the well at the community park to a new storage tank at the hall.
“This Stronger Communities Grant will enable the progress association to keep the toilets at the hall open to the general public and will assist hosting large functions, camping around the area and with landscaping.
“Without a sustainable water supply the progress association was limited in the community events that could be held
“I am very pleased we have made these Federal Government funds available through the Stronger Communities Program to help regional communities.
The Coalition Government’s Stronger Communities Programme offers grants of between $2,500 and $20,000 for small capital projects.
