I am not contesting the upcoming Federal Election and consequently, from the time the electoral writs were issued (Fri 28th March), I ceased to be the Member for Grey.
My former staff will continue in their positions until the time the new member is declared following the election and they are able to assist residents with federal government agency issues, such as Services Australia, NDIS, Immigration, DVA, telecommunications, taxation and superannuation.

It has been an absolute privilege to serve as the Member for Grey and there is much about the job I will miss, but there is a time for everything and in this case, it is the time for Teresa and I to retire.
